Located in Northwestern Ontario, Neskantaga First Nation—also known as Lansdowne House—is a remote, fly-in community situated along Attawapiskat Lake, approximately 430 kilometres north of Thunder Bay.
With a population of roughly 400 residents, Neskantaga is part of the Matawa Tribal Council and has a strong cultural identity rooted in Oji-Cree language and traditions.
